JC Penny Opens its doors to Edinburg
Edinburg – The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce located on 602 W. University in Edinburg, Texas is pleased to announce JC Penny as a new Edinburg Chamber of Commerce business member. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Friday, August 1, 2008 at the business located on 419 Trenton Road in Edinburg, Texas.
Cris Torres, Chairman with the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce feels that the new store will have a large impact on the City of Edinburg. “It’s a great moment for the city of Edinburg, and we are thrilled to have JC Penny be part of the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce and our community. Penny’s opened their doors just in time for the Back to School shopping rush, and Edinburg will definitely reap the benefits. JC Penney gives back in many ways, today the JC Penny After School Fund donated $5,000 to the Edinburg Boys & Girls Club”.
